The kits are
fun for kids (recommended age 10 and up) as well as for adults who want to learn basics about electronics. They provide a
fast, intuitive, hands-on approach to learning, and contain some really neat items (the included sensors are really cool!).
The kits have been a popular part of the Junior Girl Scout engineering badge program (the "Making it Matter"
badge), the Expanding Your Horizons program (4th ~ 8th grade), the Upward
Bounds program for first generation college students, and in the Microsoft DigiGirlz program for high school age girls.
There are no tools or soldering required--the kits are completely self-contained. The illustrated manual walks you
through each step, and you gain confirmation of success every step of the way.
